Phew!!!! What a busy last week!

Our Star of the Week

Alexander is our Star of the Week! Did you know that Alexander enjoys coloring and going to Costco? He shared with us today that he especially enjoys the free samples and pizza. Who knew Costco was such a great place for kids? Did you also know that Alexander has an older sister? Thank you, Alexander, for doing a great job answering our questions and sharing your pictures. We really appreciated the family tree you finger painted for your presentation.

Exploring E Day

Crystals indoors and out!

For Exploring E day we went outside to hunt for crystals and then came inside to grow our own….ROCK CANDY!!!

Reading with our Senior Buddies

We had a great visit with our Senior buddies. We brought in our favorite books and read together! It was so sweet to see the Seniors enjoying some picture books and old favorites. The KD Dragonflies really enjoyed hearing the Seniors read their favorite stories- some of them really got into the characters!

Jack is our Star of the Week!

Jack is our Star of the Week! Did you know that Jack loves Legos and enjoys playing Iron man? Jack also shared that he loves pizza and has a dog. Jack did a fantastic job sharing his pictures and answering our questions. We look forward to learning more about Jack this week.

Up in knots!

This is an excellent game to build cooperation and communication to solve problems together. KD Dragonflies were asked to reach across their circle of friends and create a human knot. Then, they were to move around and talk to one another to untangle without letting go of each others' hands .

This was an AMAZING Morning Meeting activity!

The Butter Boogie

Better late than never!! This video was taken before break. KD Dragonflies did the Butter Boogie to turn cream into a delicious creamy butter we enjoyed with fresh baked bread from KC. Thank you to Mrs. Spalding who generously donated the cream!
