Happy Birthday, August!

Today we celebrated August's birthday in a very special way! August brought in his pet chicken, Buffy! We all enjoyed hearing about this very special family member. This was definitely a birthday celebration we will not forget! Thank you to August and his family for a very special share.

KD Dragonflies visited the zoo with our Senior buddies. More pictures to come… I was hoping to get everyone, but students were roaming with their buddies and I wasn't able to get as many as I hoped.

This Week in KD

This week in KD we visited the 3rd grade Wax museum, explored non-ficion texts, completed new math stations, began our ocean unit talking about plankton and expressed our opinions in writers' workshop! Here are some pictures from this week's fun!
